Hey, I'm Ava
I am a project manager, a parent, and an expat living in Toronto, Canada.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to Canada wasn’t in our long-term plan. Like many relocations for work, it began as an opportunity and soon grew into something much larger.
The initial months were demanding — new systems, new routines, new expectations. Everyday tasks seemed more difficult than they should.
The Adjustment Period
Culture shock, uncertainties, and a lot of hands-on learning were part of it. Yet over time, routines settled. We found places that fit our needs, connected with other families, and began shaping something that felt steady.
Why I Built Iquv Ozeli Wma
Most information online was either corporate relocation tips or shallow tourism content. What lacked was an honest, everyday family perspective.
This site aims to fill that gap — practical guidance drawn from real life in Canada.
